A Conversation on Food Access with Urban Rural Action

In this conversation, journalist Elia Powers speaks with Greta Zarro, who works on the 12-acre Unadilla Community Farm in rural West Edmeston, NY; and Shenee Simon, who lives in Memphis and does research and consulting on health, environment, and food security for girls and women.Greta and Shenee talk with Elia about food access, equity, and overcoming the urban-rural divide. Both women are participants in Urban Rural Action’s Uniting for America program that seeks to bring together urban and rural partners on common issues such as food, prison reform, social justice, and more.
