We’ll unpack the results at a workshop on May 22 at the 2018 National Rural Assembly. This will be used in a participatory workshop at the Assembly that explores the nature of citizenship in the U.S., how we imagine it, how we practice it, and what we might learn from this discussion on how to heal our divides. We’ll unpack the nature of patriotism, what “freedom,” “justice” and “equality” mean, and reflect on current conservative and liberal proposals to amend the U.S. Constitution. 

 

Four communities to host in-person events for Rural Assembly Everywhere 2025

The Rural Assembly is pleased to announce that four communities from across the country will host in-person gatherings as part of virtual Rural Assembly Everywhere on Sept. 17.

Each partner will host events in their communities, bringing neighbors together to view the Rural Assembly Everywhere virtual programming and take part in local conversations and activities.
