Share your experiences with health disparities in rural communities

By Quintissa Peake, Policy Fellow

In our previous blog, we discussed the need for access to quality healthcare for citizens living in rural areas. I’m looking to share stories of rural individuals and the healthcare disparities they’re facing.

Would you like share some of your story? Do you also have a chronic health condition or special healthcare needs? Do you live in a rural area? What are some of the healthcare disparities you’ve faced? If you’d like to share your story, I’d love to hear from you in the form below.

By acknowledging the challenges rural citizens face, and addressing issues together, we can work toward a future where all citizens can enjoy the benefits of a healthy and fulfilling life.

About this series
This spring, the Rural Assembly will share a series of commentaries exploring rural health disparities. We’ll be talking about the challenges faced by rural citizens with chronic health conditions; the consequences of limited healthcare access; and the urgent need for comprehensive solutions to bridge this healthcare gap.
