We’re pleased to announce Kathleen Sebelius, U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services, will address participants at this year’s gathering of the National Rural Assembly in Bethesda.


As Governor of Kansas, Sebelius led a House briefing in 2007 on issues and opportunities for rural communities as part of the first National Rural Assembly. Her June 2013 address will again address broad issues affecting rural quality of life and more specifically, the role rural women and young people play in creating healthy, thriving communities.  

Four communities to host in-person events for Rural Assembly Everywhere 2025

The Rural Assembly is pleased to announce that four communities from across the country will host in-person gatherings as part of virtual Rural Assembly Everywhere on Sept. 17.

Each partner will host events in their communities, bringing neighbors together to view the Rural Assembly Everywhere virtual programming and take part in local conversations and activities.
