Thank you to everyone who made the 2019 Rural Women’s Summit a success. Over the two and a half days, over 200 women and their allies gathered to articulate the civic, political, and cultural impact of women’s leadership in rural America. More than 60 of these women delivered workshops, speeches, and plenary sessions on topics ranging from women and caregiving to combating climate change to running for public office. We heard from women journalists, organizers and activists, indigenous leaders, artists and poets, lawyers and professors, faith leaders, and young women, who are building bridges and crossing borders to better connect us to one another and the places we call home. Check out our page for videos of Firestarter talks, podcast recordings, and more from the summit!
